Wrong and Egregious

 

No matter what the interpretation under prevailing (inadequate) law might be – supporting a principle where responsible home owners leasing land to site their conventional or “mobile” homes (not trailers), that allows the landowner to increase lot fees without cause or justification and to intimidate by the use of over-reaching leases removing constitutional rights, AND in addition, intentionally place the home owner’s property at risk making ownership unaffordable and the home unmarketable, and further leading to circumstances causing default so that the land owner can take possession is simply WRONG. The promotion of these conditions by the courts or the legislature by neglect or failure to represent/act on behalf of the citizen egregious.

 

 

 

 

Residents call on those that represent them, and government that is required to defend and protect citizen's civil rights, to take IMMEDIATE action against acts many see as extortion, leveled against PA's elderly citizens, by profiteering property owners taking advantage of inadequate MH law - victimizing PA's retirees, elderly, persons with disabilities, and low income families in land -lease communities (LLC).
 
The serious conditions today, known for more than 20 years and no sufficient ACTION taken.
 
 

  • Community residents own substantial homes sited on leased land


  • Homes are subject to 30 day eviction and unreasonable rents and charges


  • Prevailing statutes outdated, unsuited, ineffective, and biased


  • Home owners subjected to intimidation with leases maintained under duress
 
  • Community operation in many cases unrelated to the intent of the lease

 

  • PA residents forced out of their homes and property

 

 

BY ANY REASONED STANDARD OR DETERMINATION WHAT IS OCCURRING IS RACKETEERING AND EXTORTION AGAINST PA CITIZENS FACILITATED BY OUR OWN LEGISLATURE...

 

WHAT ARE YOU PREPARED TO DO?

 

 

 

The CONSTITUTION of these UNITED STATES says..."We the people of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

 

The Fourteenth Amendment of the Constitution states "No State shall deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws".

 

What is occurring in Land-Lease Communities (LLC) is believed to NOT meet these standards, or the essence of what was fought for by our forefathers. IN FACT, in Countries without our guaranteed freedoms, this form of land use is unacceptable and seen as an archaic form of dictatorship, feudal in concept.
